FTT’s CEO Luke Daly was the leadoff speaker this year for the Water Environment Federation’s Disinfection and Public Health committees’ Chemical Disinfection program. Attendees included the U.S. EPA, utility managers, consulting engineers, and end-users. In addition to working with a major philanthropic foundation’s project manager, Mr. Daly also attended the U.S. EPA’s progress update on research it has funded studying the “Use of Ferrate in small drinking water treatment systems” which studied Ferrate’s ability to not only prevent disinfection by-products, but oxidize their naturally occurring precursors found in source waters that feed drinking water treatment plants.
